TITLE: Researcher College of Engineering Sultan Qaboos University -Oman

 

ABSTRACT: Development of local adsorbents for treatment of oil-containing produced water in Oman

 

BIOGRAPHY: Dr.Jibril did his  basics studies in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia,also  obtained a PhD (Chemical Engineering) from Salford, UK in 2002.

Since then, he has been engaged in research and teaching in different universities. His main   interest of  research are in the areas of preparation and testing of adsorbents and catalysts.

 He has several publications on the catalytic conversion of alkanes to olefins and hydrodesulfurization of crude oil. Recently, his research focused on catalytic wastewater treatment.
