Dr. Mohamed Fathy Hamoda

ABSTRACT: Composting of Mixtures of Municipal Solid Wastes and Sewage Sludge in Kuwait
BIOGRAPHY:
Dr.Hamoda is professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Environmental Technology Management and the Department of Civil Engineering at Kuwait University.
He obtained his Ph.D. in 1975 from the University of Toronto, Canada and worked in the academic and consultation fields since then. His practical experience and research interests extends for more than 40 years in the waste management and environmental impact assessment areas which includes Canada, USA, New Zealand, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait.
He served as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Department Chairman at Kuwait University, Adviser to Kuwait’s EPA and KFAS, Consultant to many consultation firms, Project manager with Environment Canada, and International Adviser to WHO, UNDP, and UNEP. He is also the author of over 160 papers published in the International Journals, and served on the editorial boards of two journals in the field of environmental engineering. He is an active member of IWA since 1977 and received a number of professional awards from National and International organizations.
